What Time of Year Should I Visit Moscow?

Moscow is an amazing city, and for most foreign tourists, the capital city of Russia is the starting point for an unforgettable experience of taking a holiday on the Trans-Siberian Railway. This iconic train journey takes you from Moscow, all the way to Beijing, and if you have decided to experience this amazing train trip, you certainly wouldn’t be alone.

The Trans-Siberian Railway Experience

By searching online, you can calculate the Trans-Siberian railway cost from Moscow to Beijing, and then, spend some time thinking about the exact dates you would like to go. Unless you happen to love sub-zero temperatures and icy and snowy conditions, winter is not really an option. That leaves you with three seasons, and here is a brief outline of each.

Springtime in Russia

For many European tourists, spring is the ideal season to travel in Russia, as the temperature is still comfortable and a good few degrees lower than in June, July and August, which can top 40°C. Late spring offers the best combination, as you have long days for exploring and mild temperatures, as the cold weather moves away. There is an informative page you can refer to that looks at Russian seasons in some detail. It’s a recommended reading for all who are planning a trip to Russia.

The Russian Summer

The months of June, July and August have high temperatures, plus this is the peak tourist season, likely due to the fact that many families can only take holidays when the kids are out of school. If you like lots of crowds, summer is a good time to visit, although you will be hot most of the time, and for those who prefer fewer people, summer should be avoided. The high season officially starts at the beginning of May and it runs through to mid-October, and, of course, prices will be a little higher during this time, as they always are in peak season months.

Autumn - The Season of Changing Colours

Much like spring, you have bearable temperatures and fewer people travelling in the months of September and October, and for some, this is the best time to take a holiday in Russia. The early part of the Russian autumn is still in the high season, and you might prefer to go during the last two weeks of October when the temperatures start to drop.

Whatever time you decide to take a holiday on the Trans-Siberian Railway, make sure you book your trip with an established online tour operator, and they will furnish you with all the information you need to plan the ultimate holiday in Russia.

If you are planning to visit Mongolia too, then you will need to obtain 3 separate visas; Russian, Chinese and Mongolian, which is something the tour operator can assist you in doing.

Make plans and pack all the essentials you will need, for what will certainly be the holiday of a lifetime, and one you won’t forget in a hurry.

6 Simple Reasons Why Every Millennial Should Travel More

*This is a contributed post. All opinions are the writers own.

There are numerous reasons why millennials feel held back in today’s world. Not only do the older generation believe they are entitled, but they also frown upon people doing things a little differently in life. Not everybody on this earth was destined to land a 9-5 job in the corporate world, meet the love of their life, get married and start a family; many choose to take a different path. The open-mindedness of millennials is astonishing. They are so accepting of the people around them and they truly care about making a difference for the future. Travel plays a huge role in this and it’s a true statement that travel is so important for an open mind. There are a whole host of reasons why millennials should travel more often, so consider some of these motives and get your next trip booked!

1. It Can Be Cheap

Holidays don’t have to break your bank account, so why not look into cheap travel for students? You can purchase package holidays that fit within your budget so you won’t have to put off your trip of a lifetime for one minute longer. Whether you’re yearning after a road trip around America or you are bursting to explore South East Asia, there are so many different opportunities out there that will fit in with your travel bucket list.

2. You Will Appreciate Other Cultures

Instead of living in your little bubble forever, you will start to appreciate how other people live by visiting different places. Open up your eyes to new religious values and cultural expectations and you will feel empowered as soon as you have witnessed these new experiences abroad.

3. You Could Find a Job That Satisfies You

You don’t have to stay shackled to your small hometown for the rest of your life. Another country might be able to offer you wonderful job opportunities that you just can’t find around here. If this is something that interests you then check out local jobs boards in areas that appeal to you around the world.

4. You May Want to Learn a New Language

Many people pay a fortune to take an online class or course in another language and they never actually get the chance to put their new skills into action. Travelling to another country and immersing yourself in the language is one of the most effective ways to learn, so why not consider it? Move to France for a month and you will soon be speaking like a native; once you have mastered it, you will find it hard to shake off!

5. Meeting New People is Fun

One of the best things about travelling alone is that you have the perfect opportunity to meet new people; you might even make friends for life. During your travels, you will come across some amazing, inspirational people, who might be quite similar to yourself. Speak to people and get to know about their backgrounds; you might just learn something new.

6. It Allows You to Take Time Out

It is a proven fact that travelling is very good for your health, so if you think you need to take time out this is the perfect solution. Whether you’re feeling stressed, anxious or overworked, getting away can be the best medicine you will ever have. Obviously, you shouldn’t be running away from your problems altogether, but a trip away will serve as a welcome break to any stressed out millennial.
There is nothing quite like hopping on a plane on your own and exploring a brand new way of life. Whether you’re backpacking in Thailand or sunning yourself in the Bahamas, there is so much to learn from every place in the world. Travelling alone is never a bad thing either because it allows you to break out of your comfort zone and meet new people along the way. Millennials have a bad rap for being lazy, but isn’t it lazier to sit back and only care about the country and society you were raised in? Having an enriched, open mind that is bursting with knowledge is the least idle thing a person can do. So the next time you’re putting off a trip because you’re ‘too busy’ just think about the benefits of hopping on that flight. Don’t let your money troubles get in the way either because there are so many cheap deals you can find online. Allow yourself to explore new places and soak in beautiful cultures and don’t forget how important travel is in your life?

Picture Perfect? Here's How They Do It

*This is a contributed post. All opinions are the writers own.

If you’ve ever paid a visit to any kind of social media platform, you know very well that the lives of those who post may seem a bit unreal. Every page is littered with healthy smoothies, intricate yoga postures and bright smiles - but, luckily, we know that their lives are far from perfect.

We just like to present ourselves in the best possible way and preferably from the best possible light. As long as everyone is aware of this, there’s really no harm in trying to look your best for every photo and clearing away the clutter before snapping a picture.

Here is a handful of tips in terms of getting yourself picture perfect without having to rely on those filters too much.

First: Make your skin glow

It doesn’t matter if you feel beautiful when you look in the mirror in the morning or not; everyone can have great-looking skin on pictures. The great thing about a photo is, of course, that it’s confined to one angle of your face and one set of light so you can use a few simple tips and tricks to hide your imperfections.

Start by going through your regular skincare routine but use a serum before you apply any makeup. This will help to lock in the moisture a bit better and help your makeup to set a bit better while still looking natural.

After this, you continue to apply makeup as you regularly do and keep in mind that you should use a concealer with a lighter tone to cover up any blemishes; darker shades tend to bring out imperfections rather than hiding them.

Use the right amount and spend some time on working it into your skin, look at it from different angles in different lights, and finish off with a setting spray at the end.

Next: Remember your teeth

A frame-worthy photo won’t be quite the same without bright and healthy smiles. While taking care of your teeth and making sure that you’re able to avoid those costly bills at the dentist’s office is a habit rather than a quick fix, you can still start to treat them a bit better from now on.

Start by having a long look at this article, first of all, to learn all the inside tips on ensuring that healthy smile and consider going for cosmetic dentistry if you have issues with your teeth that better dental hygiene won’t fix.

If you’re having problems with your teeth that goes beyond what a toothbrush and a regular dental routine can do for you, it’s a good idea to have a look at instasmile for some more information. It’s not just for those pictures, after all, as much as it’s for your general wellbeing.

No matter if you take selfies for your social media feed or just to preserve some much-cherished memories, we all prefer to look our best - and sticking to these simple routines will definitely make a difference when it comes to your confidence and general wellness.

Just keep in mind that everyone tries to show themselves from their very best side whenever you scroll through those feeds and it won’t really go to your head; when nobody’s looking, we’re all sitting in our sweatpants and eating Doritos straight from the bag.

The Shea Body Butter is great for seriously dry skin and hair and is beneficial for conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and sun-damaged skin.
