Today’s post is a little different to my usual ones. As I mentioned I am branching out more to include Travel & Lifestyle posts so today’s is a list of 26 TV Shows I Love Watching In 2018. I’m a huge fan of watching TV shows, so this list isn’t everything I have seen but it is all the shows I’m currently watching, with the exception of one or two that may have been cancelled or finished airing at the time of this post.

Supernatural
Of course Supernatural has to come first. It is the show I have been watching the longest (ever since it started) and is also a show I used to be able to quote time and time again from the earlier seasons. This will be forever known as my favourite TV show of all time and Sam and Dean along with Castiel and Crowley will be my favourite TV characters of all time.
Game Of Thrones
I think almost everybody with a working TV or Internet watches Game Of Thrones right?! If not have you been living under a rock? This was one of those shows that I didn’t think I would enjoy and it did take me four episodes to get into it (I almost gave up) but once I was into it I was hooked. A must watch. FYI, My fave character is of course Daenerys.
Teen Wolf
A teen supernatural show to fill the void of The Vampire Diaries although I believe it has finished now. Still there is 6 seasons to get through. So I suggest you begin your binge now.
Daredevil
I am a huge superhero and comic book character fangirl which is what you may notice if you read down the rest of this list and Daredevil is a good place to start for the Marvel TV shows that pepper Netflix. Wilson Fisk makes for a great character in season 1 and The Punisher is great in season 2.
Jessica Jones
I’ve just finished binging the second season of this as we speak. She is basically an alcoholic, leather jacket wearing bad-ass who is a PI and has super strength.
Luke Cage
I wasn’t as huge a fan of this as some of the other Marvel shows but I still enjoyed watching it and seeing how Luke Cage came to be. He is bullet-proof and has super strength. He first makes an appearance in Jessica Jones.
Iron Fist
This is a probably my favourite Marvel TV character because his superpower was a little cooler than the rest and wasn’t something that had necessarily been done to him by some big bad evil thing, but rather by channelling his Chi. He practices Wing Chun which I would have had no clue about, but is something my boyfriend practices too so that was a really interesting thing to learn more about.
The Defenders
This is basically all the Marvel TV characters coming together. Think Avengers of the TV world. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage & Iron Fist, so I suggest you watch all their single shows first before watching this. Also be sure to look out for all the Stan Lee poster cameos in each show.
The Punisher
A somewhat villian from the second season of Daredevil who is actually a really awesome character. He’s got issues, he likes killing and he misses his family.
Marvels Agent’s Of S.H.I.E.L.D
I’ve loved where this show has gone season after season. Always somewhere new and exciting. Plus cameo’s from some of the Marvel Universe movie characters.
The Expanse
This is one I binged through recently and have really enjoyed. It’s set in Space, on Earth and on Mars with rising tensions between the three groups along with a alien disease that could wipe everyone out.
Jane The Virgin
I thought I wouldn’t like this show when I first saw it advertised which is why it took me around 3 years to start watching it but it turned out to be a super cute show. It starts with Jane who is a virgin being accidentally artificially inseminated. It still has it’s cringy dramatic moments, what with it being in the style of a Telenovela but I’ve kind of got used to that now which is part of it’s charm.
Arrow
This is the start of the DC TV show characters now. I told you I was a fangirl. Oliver Queen was lost on an island for five years and comes back as a vigilante. He is also amazing with a bow and arrow. Slade Wilson/Deathstroke is a damn cool character is season 1.

The Flash
I Think The Flash is my favourite of the DC characters in these shows because his powers are just so cool. It’s technically one thing (he can run fast) but it has so many uses and can be used in so many different ways (i.e. time travel among other things). If anyone ever asks me what superpower I want I always say the same as The Flash.
Supergirl
Cousin of Superman. Took me a little while to get into this and it wasn’t until she was crossing over with the other shows that I did start watching it properly.

Legends Of Tomorrow
I love this one because it’s part of the DC world and the characters just mesh so well together. It is super funny and they have great banter (I hate that word though) They travel through time to major events in history to fix time anomolies.
Degrassi: Next Class
This is the new class of Degrassi which is basically set in a high school and they deal with many different issues within each episode such as racism, homophobia, drug addiction and other relatable issues. It was originally how Drake got famous.

Girlboss
This one is based off the early life of the Nasty Gal clothing brand creator Sophia Amoruso and how the brand came to be. It was a really interesting story but unfortunately was cancelled after the first season.
Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments
Shadowhunters is based off the book series of the same name which again is a supernatural teen show. It is slightly cringy at times with some of the acting but still enjoyable. I’m not entirely sure how much it differs from the books as I have only read the first two or three in the series so far.

Atypical
Atypical is completely different to anything I have ever watched before as the main character has Autism. So we see him trying to navigate his life to find a girlfriend. It is a great show that brings more attention to Autism.
iZombie
The main character gets turned into a zombie but not quite in the mindless, must kill everybody vibe, she still has to eat brains to survive but she works in a morgue so has easy access. The brains give her visions of the dead persons life hence why she starts working as an assistant to a police officer.
Riverdale
This is the latest teen craze at the moment and I must say I am super into it. It’s set in a small town in America where a student has been murdered. The first season is mostly about trying to work out who his killer is along with the usual teen show stories of friendships, relationships, sex etc.

Dynasty
Dynasty is a remake of an older show that I believe was around in the 80’s. It basically follows the lives of a super rich family who have several secrets. This is another of the shows that I’m really into at the moment and can’t get enough of each week.

Black Lightning
Another superhero one, this time in the form of a black, high school principal who can harness electricity and again is a wanted vigilante. It’s a pretty cool show that I’m still getting into.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine
I don’t watch many half hour comedy type shows so Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a bit of an exception. I find I laugh at least once every episode and tend to binge watch a season over a few days at a time. It also stars Andy Samberg which is the reason I started watching it.

Black Mirror
I’m not entirely sure how to explain this one. It’s set around how technology screws with our lives. Each episode is a stand alone story about a certain subject. My favourite episode was probably S3 Ep1 the features Bryce Dallas Howard. It’s a definite must watch as it is kind of mind bending and psychological.

Timeless
Timeless is one of those shows I randomly came across on Netflix that sounded intriguing. It stars Matt Lanter (From 90210) which is what originally drew me towards it. It is set around a time-travelling group of people who are chasing someone through time. It goes back to major events in history.

Santa Clarita Diet
This one stars Drew Barrymore who is a zombie housewive. Again she is not a mindless zombie but she does need brains to eat. This is a charming, fun little show and the second season has arrived on just arrived on Netflix.
Younger
Hilary Duff was the reason I started watching this. It is about a 30 something mother who can’t get a job in publishing so pretends to be a 20 something.

Quantico
The main characters all started FBI training in Quantico and a terrorist attack has gone off. It’s one of those shows that you have to guess who has done it from all the clues given.

13 Reasons Why
This is based off the book of the same name about a girl who commits suicide but leaves behind tapes with reasons why she did it. It’s an interesting concept and definitely shines light on suicide.

The 100
Another show based off a book series. The 100 starts off in space after the earth became unliveable. It’s been a couple of hundred years I believe and they send down 100 criminal kids to test the earth and what they find isn’t quite what they expected. It is such an awesome teen show that definitely deserves a watch.

Chicago Fire
Based around a firehouse in Chicago. It has spawned 3 spin off shows including Chicago PD, Chicago Med & Chicago Justice.

Project Runway
I had to give a couple of honourable mentions to some reality shows so first up we have Project Runway where a group of people vie to win a place at New York Fashion Week by creating outfits each week with one person getting eliminated. I love seeing the designs every week and my favourite challenges are definitely the Haute Couture and the unconventional materials ones.

America’s Next Top Model
And lastly of course I cannot forget America’s Next Top Model or ANTM for short. I have been watching this since season 1 and I LOVE it! Tyra Banks is just amazing and I love seeing the creative photo shoots each week.
