*This is a contributed post. There are some days when you may not feel your best. Over time, this can build up, and you may find you are lacking confidence. The good news is that you don’t have to stay down in one place for too long. There are actions you can take that will allow you to feel better fast. Here are 4 tips to help you feel more confident overall.
Face Your Fears
It’s normal to have hesitations and fears in life. However, you don’t want to let them get the best of you. Figure out what obstacles you are facing currently and be willing to face challenges head-on. When you face your fears you will begin to have more confidence in yourself as time goes on. Set goals and figure out what you can do to overcome whatever is making you feel anxious. Once you face your fears then learn to be proud of yourself for even small wins that you experience over time. One great goal to work towards is finishing the 3 Peaks Challenge, for example – just imagine how proud you’ll feel when you’ve done it, not to mention the fact that you can raise money for a good cause at the same time.

Revamp Your Wardrobe & Style
One way to express yourself is through your clothing and style. It can be anything from a new hairdo to getting a new piercing, such as a nose ring. There are plenty of septum rings for your piercing to choose from, depending on your personal taste. Also, go through your closet and get rid of or donate items that are out of style or no longer fit you. Make room for new clothes and staples that you can wear year-round. This way you’ll always have clothes to choose from to wear that you like and that make you feel good.
It’s important not to forget the accessories to your outfits either, even down to the designer glasses frames you pick out for your vision.

Exercise & Eat Healthily
Another tip to help you feel more confident overall is to exercise and eat healthily. This is an effective way to take better care of yourself and practice self-care. You’ll likely notice that as time goes on, you begin to lose extra pounds and that you feel more confident in your body. The more you exercise, the better you’ll feel and the better you’ll eat. You may want to consider joining a gym and cooking meals for yourself at home. You’ll also likely find that you sleep better at night when you are keeping active and moving more throughout the day.

Avoid Comparisons
It is easy to start comparing yourself to others, especially when scrolling through social media. If you want to feel more confident overall, then do your best to avoid comparisons. Instead, use this as a chance to focus on yourself and your goals. Comparing yourself all the time makes you feel less confident about all that you have to offer. It will negatively impact your self-esteem over time and can lead to you having a more negative mindset. Focus on your own progress and growth, and use your time to practice gratitude instead of concentrating on what’s lacking in your life.
